H. Ege Ozen

Associate Professor of Political Science

I am an associate professor of political science at the College of Staten Island, CUNY. As of Spring 2025, I am on sabbatical leave. I received my bachelor’s degrees in political science and sociology from Istanbul Bilgi University in 2005. I also have two master’s degrees: one in history (Bogazici University, 2008) and another in political science (Binghamton University, 2013). I completed my PhD in political science at Binghamton University in 2016. I received my tenure in 2023, and since then, I have been working as an associate professor at the College of Staten Island. Previously, I published my research on voting behavior, elections, political parties, voter turnout, minority rights, and public opinion in various political science journals. You can find the specifics in the Research section of my homepage.
